Bonds: Simplified is designed to be fast, focused, and respectful of your privacy.

What we collect

• Rates-service request data. When the app retrieves public market data from our Cloudflare-hosted rates service, the main app sends a random installation identifier. Cloudflare also processes standard connection information, including IP address, user agent, and approximate location derived from the network connection.
• Operational diagnostics. Short-lived service logs can include the requested rates endpoint or series, response status, request timing, cache result, Cloudflare data-center location, country, and the connection information above. We use this information to deliver the rates service, limit abuse, diagnose failures, and understand aggregate service traffic.
• Diagnostics & crash reports (optional). If you opt in to share diagnostics through Apple settings, Apple may make diagnostic information available to us to improve stability and performance. We do not connect it to an account or other identity.
• Support email. When you contact us at , we receive your address and the contents of your message so we can reply.

What we don’t collect

• No account creation.
• No third‑party analytics or advertising SDKs.
• No transmission of bond inputs, calculations, saved comparisons, glossary searches, bookmarks, course progress, or app preferences.
• No use of collected data to identify you or track you across apps or websites.
• No sale of collected data or disclosure for advertising, marketing, or cross-app or cross-site tracking. Cloudflare processes network requests only as our hosting and security provider.

Network activity

The app fetches publicly available market data, including U.S. Treasury yields and mortgage and short-term rates, from api.bondssimplified.app. Cloudflare processes these requests as our infrastructure provider. The stable random identifier allows requests from the same app installation to be correlated. It is not connected to an account, name, email address, advertising identifier, or data from other apps or websites.

When you visit this website, Cloudflare also processes standard connection and security information needed to deliver and protect the site. The site does not include a third-party advertising or product-analytics tag.

Children’s privacy

Bonds: Simplified is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data retention

Cloudflare rates-service logs are retained for no more than seven days. The rate limiter uses IP addresses over a short rolling window. We retain support emails only as long as needed to address your request, and Apple-provided diagnostics according to Apple's availability and retention controls.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
